Synopsis

Described by The Guardian as the "first lady of jazz-pop," Carla Bruni takes the stage at Teatro Romano for the first time for a concert with refined arrangements in which she retraces her greatest hits, all permeated from a unique poetic sensibility. to starting from Quelqu'un m'to dit, the song that marked the beginning of her musical career, Bruni seduces the audience with her soft voice and innate elegance.

A multifaceted artist who is a symbol of charm, Carla Bruni was born into a family of artists and from from an early age showed a special interest in music, devoting herself to studying the guitar and writing songs. After completing her studies, she embarked on a modeling career that soon led her to be one of the most sought-after supermodels in the world. In the 1990s, she worked with the biggest fashion designers and photographers and appeared on magazine covers around the world. In 2002, she decided to devote herself completely to her first passion: music. After writing the lyrics for some songs on Julien Clerc's album Si j'étais elle, she released her first album entitled Quelqu'un m'to dit. In 2007 Carla Bruni released her second album, No Promises, sung in English, which received a gold disc certification in Belgium. The following year, 2008, also came the third album, Comme si de rien n'était. While having most of the lyrics in French, this record contains two particular covers. The first, in English, of You belong to me, a U.S. song that was also used as the soundtrack for the film L' ultimo spettacolo (1971), and the second of Francesco Guccini's Il vecchio e il bambino. from then, Bruni released several critically acclaimed albums, Little French Songs in 2013, French Touch in 2017, and the eponymous Carla Bruni album in 2020. She appeared to Sanremo in 2023.
